About this role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to work with a diverse range of clients and provide high-quality, value-adding services. As a senior accountant in our business services team, you will be involved in working with clients from various industries and backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with regulatory and accounting standards;
  • Prepare income tax returns for companies, trusts, and high net worth individuals;
  • Provide outsourced finance function services and CFO advisory services, including management reporting and forecasting;
  • Deliver a range of business and tax advisory services.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work. You will also need to have a common sense approach and be able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in business services, tax, or accounting;
  • CA or CPA qualifications, or close to completion;
  • Knowledge of Xero is desirable;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
