About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Roster and HR Specialist to join our team.

**Job Summary:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring rosters are consistently staffed to a high standard, managing daily roster variations, and operating across a 7-day roster with some weekend work and overtime may be required.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure rosters are consistently staffed to a high standard and manage daily roster variations
  • Operate across a 7-day roster with some weekend work and overtime may be required
  • Manage allocated shifts in accordance with individual contracted hours and SCHADS Award
  • Analyze data to identify key trends, providing insights and strategies to address operational issues
  • Monitor staff restrictions to ensure compliance
  • Review HR documentation compliance and follow up on non-compliance
  • Ensure adherence to rostering guidelines, payroll, and HR processes
  • Liaise with staff on rostering and payroll queries
  • Assist in interviewing and hiring support staff

**Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of rostering and scheduling processes
  • Experienced in supporting staffing and associated HR requirements
  • Knowledge of Brevity Care Software is highly desirable
  • Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS and SCHADS Award
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly developed computer literacy
  • Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Minimum two years' experience in disability/aged care, HR, rostering, and administration (desirable)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Blue Card, Worker Screening
  • Current driver's license
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
