Wellbeing Care Specialist

About the RoleAs a Wellbeing Carer, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering engaging activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents. You'll work closely with our care team to ensure that every resident feels valued, supported, and connected. Your creativity, empathy, and ability to build strong relationships will be essential in creating a warm and welcoming environment that fosters a sense of community.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement activity programs that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with the care team to identify resident needs and preferences, and tailor activities accordingly
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, particularly those with cognitive impairment or mental health needs
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as mealtimes and outings, and ensure residents' safety and comfort
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive culture within the care home
We're seeking a Wellbeing Carer who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. You'll need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Previous experience in caring for elders within an Aged Care or community setting is essential.
