Job Overview:

The Medical Laboratory Assistant plays a vital role in the NSW Health Pathology team, supporting scientists, technicians, and pathologists to provide accurate test results for informed clinical decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist laboratory staff with tasks including specimen reception, support services, and maintaining high-quality work output.
  • Develop knowledge of laboratory environments and maintain awareness of legislation, policies, and requirements relevant to laboratory settings.
  • Exhibit excellent data entry skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy, to support efficient laboratory operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
