Nurse Practitioner

This role requires a Primary Health Care Practitioner to deliver culturally safe and responsive primary health care aligned with the BRAMS Model of Care.
The key responsibilities include conducting independent patient assessments, diagnoses, and clinical decision-making. Additionally, the practitioner will prescribe medications under the Kimberley Standard Drug List and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic investigations.
A significant aspect of this role is managing recalls, reminders, and follow-up care processes. The practitioner will collaborate across departments and multidisciplinary teams, leading and contributing to quality improvement activities and clinical audits.
Clinical governance and safeguarding practices for children and young people are also essential components of this position. The ideal candidate will hold current AHPRA registration with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner and have demonstrated experience in a primary healthcare setting.
