We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the end-to-end project management of research funding opportunities for the Defence Artificial Intelligence Research Network (DAIRNet). The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with opportunity sponsors to develop funding calls, drafting contracts, and tracking milestones and reporting.

Essential Skills and Experience
- High-level project design capability with demonstrated proficiency in preparing funding and tender proposal processes, including pricing and costing for budget and milestone development.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret policies, procedures, and funding requirements of Commonwealth Procurement rules.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide recommendations to a diverse range of stakeholders in the research context.
- Proven experience in enhancing customer-focused service delivery within multi-functional teams.
- Experience in pre- and post-award management of research funding and projects within the higher education and/or Defence sector, including experience using programs for post-award project management.
