Job Summary:
The Department of Health Tasmania is seeking experienced and skilled Senior Allied Health Professionals to join our team on a casual and fixed-term basis. As a Senior Allied Health Professional, you will provide an efficient and effective allied health service to patients and clients of the Department of Health at a senior and/or specialist level within the allocated work area(s).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality allied health services to patients and clients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the needs of patients and clients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Conduct research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure continuity of care and professional development.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant allied health discipline.
- Registration with the relevant Board or professional association.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior allied health role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
