Key Responsibilities:- Strategically lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide risk and assurance strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate risk management practices with business strategies and operations.
- Oversee the policy framework, ensuring compliance across the organisation.
- Coordinate insurance reviews and manage external broker relationships.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor risk exposure.
- Guide project leaders in embedding risk and compliance practices.
- Partner with internal audit teams to deliver quality audits.
- Promote a culture of risk awareness through training, tools, and leadership.
- Provide regular reports to the Board, Committees, and Executive Leadership Team.
- Proven expertise in risk management within the Australian corporate landscape, particularly in not-for-profit or charitable sectors.
- Experience delivering presentations and/or educational seminars to Boards, executive management, and senior staff.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain comprehensive risk management frameworks.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and directions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to work independently and lead others to meet goals and deadlines.
- Proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
