Job Description

The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, maintain high levels of security and safety, and work effectively with colleagues to achieve business objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring that all staff, visitors and contractors are aware of and comply with the company's security policies and procedures.

You will also be required to:

  • Patrol the premises, monitor CCTV cameras and respond to incidents as necessary;
  • Conduct regular checks of security equipment and report any faults or damage;
  • Assist with investigations into incidents and breaches of security protocols;
  • Maintain accurate records of security-related activities and incidents;
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve security measures and reduce risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A current Qld Security Licence;
  • A current 1st Aid Certificate;
  • A current NV1 (or higher) Government Security Clearance;
  • A Police check completed in the last 3 months;
  • Proven experience in a similar role, encompassing basic reception/concierge/security operations duties;
  • The confidence and ability to take ownership of the service delivery of which comes under your control;
  • An ability to form effective client and employee relationships;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • The ability to liaise with people at all levels;
  • The ability to produce high quality reports;
  • Intermediate levels of computer literacy (Microsoft products);
  • High levels of customer service skills;
  • Availability to work additional shifts when required;
  • A current mobile smart phone with credit and the ability to use apps.
