Speech Pathologist Position Summary:

We seek an experienced Speech Pathologist to provide assessment, therapy, and support to individuals with communication and swallowing needs in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

About Our Clinical Services:

Our services include Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Podiatry, and Massage Therapy, providing a comprehensive range of healthcare solutions.

The Role:

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments for patients with communication impairments, including speaking, listening, language comprehension, reading, and writing; or speech impediments such as stutters arising from various sources.
2. Develop and implement treatment plans based on evidence-based interventions within your scope of services.
3. Provide high-quality clinical opinions and justification through comprehensive report writing and completing funding application reports.
4. Establish and maintain effective relationships with service providers, administration staff, and case referrers through regular communication.
5. Timely refer patients to other multi-disciplinary service providers as necessary.
6. Maintain accurate clinical notes and provide prompt written reports/progress letters/treatment requests to relevant parties involved.
7. Deliver training and ongoing clinical assistance to colleagues through face-to-face meetings and file audits.
8. Collaborate with management and leadership teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
