At 9D Care, we offer a range of supports and assistance to residents in the Brisbane Region. We're looking for people who can provide practical and emotional help to others, drawing on their own experiences to build rapport and relationships.

This is a casual role with flexibility in working hours. You'll have opportunities to make a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities.

We require our Support Workers to be reliable, committed, and empathetic individuals who provide quality care. A can-do attitude, genuine interest in helping others, and creativity are essential.

We look for people with various hobbies, such as sewing, arts, gardening, cooking, and scrap booking. Experience in outdoor pursuits and activities is also desirable. Practical understanding of hygiene assistance and commitment to care are necessary.

You should enjoy social activities, one-on-one engagement, and have an understanding of physical limitations and safe approaches. Strong communication and organisational skills are required, along with punctuality and reliability.

We prioritise individual, family, and guardian needs. Flexible and adaptive communication skills are a must.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services or equivalent. They should be physically capable of meeting the requirements of the role and hold a current First aid Certificate.

A valid NDIS screening check clearance and National Driver License are required. Prior experience in Personal care, taking participants in the community, and Working with Children having Disabilities is also essential.

All applicants must have relevant visa or working rights in Australia. At least one year of experience supporting people with disabilities is preferred.

This role provides training and development opportunities, flexibility in working hours, and access to a network of fellow carers passionate about improving quality of life.

The successful candidate will be part of a team that prioritises customer satisfaction and delivers tailored care to individuals.
