Ventia, a leading infrastructure services company in Australia and New Zealand, is seeking experienced professionals to join our team. We're looking for talented individuals who can design, provision, and maintain network elements and services on existing and new transport platforms.

The role involves working with various technologies such as Fiber, Microwave Radio, DWDM, SDH, and Ethernet. You will be responsible for commissioning and integrating L2 and L3 Transmission Nodes into existing transport networks, decommissioning redundant network elements, links, and services, and reporting project outcomes to customers and internal departments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and enhancing working relationships within the team
  • Commissioning and integrating transmission nodes
  • Decommissioning redundant network elements
  • Reporting project outcomes

Requirements include:

  • Experience in Telecommunication Core and Access Transport designing, integration, provisioning, and fault finding
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, preferably in Telecommunications or Information Technology
  • Ability to provision services on transport platforms, fibre, DWDM, SDH, and Ethernet
  • Strong knowledge of provisioning tools and systems
  • Very good knowledge of MPLS/IP networks and layer 3 routing protocols
