About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Purchasing and Contracting Specialist to join our client's team for a 6+ month contract.

Job Summary

This role is pivotal in managing vendor data and contracts to enhance operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate vendor data in supplier systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Oversee contract lifecycle activities, including documentation and processing of commercial documents.
  • Analyse data using Power BI to identify trends and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and vendors to streamline onboarding and contract management processes.
  • Enhance and update vendor and contract management procedures for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and address risks related to vendor data and contracts.
  • Provide regular reporting on key metrics and trends in purchasing and contracting data.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Strong experience with vendor data and contract management, preferably with Felix or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of commercial and contract documentation processes.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and MS Office for reporting and analysis.
  • Experience working with CMMS, preferably Felix.
  • A strong commitment to safety, the environment, and teamwork.
  • Excellent communication skills to build productive relationships across diverse teams.
  • The ability to motivate and engage team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
