Design and Deliver Mechanical Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Designer/Drafter to join our team in Perth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and drafting, with experience in collaborating with engineers to produce 3D models and 2D deliverables.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans, as well as modelling both materials handling and mineral processing equipment. They will work closely with engineers to produce high-quality engineering drawings, concept designs, and detail designs.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years of drafting and design experience
  • AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma, or 5 years' experience in design/drafting
  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Inventor, Solid Edge, SolidWorks, and Autodesk
  • Consulting experience highly regarded
  • Evidence of produced quality work with high attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to work autonomously and run numerous projects concurrently
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player and willingness to support others
  • Ability to communicate effectively to meet set deadlines
