About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Supervisor to join our team at Ventia, a leading provider of property and facilities management services to the Australian Government. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will play a critical role in delivering technical solutions, property, and asset maintenance to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our team of Facilities and Asset Managers to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies and solutions.
  • Monitor site conditions, identify defects or issues, and report on these to ensure compliance and performance requirements are met.
  • Assist with the management of planned maintenance activities, condition monitoring, and asset lifecycle planning to ensure the site is in a state of readiness.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors to effectively maintain, repair, replace, and ensure the integrity and performance of assets and services.
Requirements
  • Experience in facilities maintenance on a range of building-related works and repairs.
  • Ability to consistently deliver under pressure and deal with integrated systems and potential hazards.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating contractors and subcontractors.
  • Competent in the use of MS Office suite, knowledge of WH&S and CMMS or similar Facilities Management system is advantageous.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team.
