Optical Assistant Role Overview
\This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start a career in the optical industry. As an Optical Assistant, you will be working closely with Optometrists and customers to provide exceptional customer service and support.
\In this role, you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in all aspects of optics, from dispensing glasses to assisting with eye exams. With full training provided, you will be able to work towards a Cert IV in Optical Dispensing and take on more responsibilities as you progress.
\We are looking for someone who is passionate about customer service and improving lives. If you excel in fast-paced environments, communicate clearly, and maintain a high level of professionalism under pressure, then this could be the perfect role for you.
\Main Responsibilities:
\- Greet and assist customers, manage bookings, and ensure smooth appointments.
- Support Optometrists by learning to take patients through the pre-testing phase of their eye exam.
- Dispense glasses with tailored lens options for each customer's needs.
- Be a customer experience champion and help us deliver excellent customer satisfaction.
