Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Networks Operator to join our team at the Australian Defence Force. As a Networks Operator, you will be responsible for managing, operating, and maintaining advanced ICT networks between stakeholders, government agencies, submarines, and ships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate advanced ICT networks to ensure seamless communication between stakeholders, government agencies, submarines, and ships.
- Diagnose and resolve network issues to ensure continued availability of networks.
- Assess network vulnerability and establish a favorable cyberspace environment for operations and missions.
- Provide specialist networks and security advice to Command and crew.
- Operate and manage cryptographic equipment to secure highly classified ICT networks.
- Coordinate basic and intermediate help desk support to deployed ICT networks.
