About the Role: As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic imaging procedures using state-of-the-art nuclear medicine equipment. Your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnosis and treatment, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, including SPECT/CT and PET/CT.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide patient education and support throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent.
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with expertise in SPECT/CT and PET/CT imaging.
  • Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and radiation safety practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
