About this role:

We are seeking a Compliance Specialist to support our organization in meeting regulatory, accreditation, and quality requirements across home care, residential aged care, affordable housing, and independent living.

This role is critical in ensuring compliance is embedded within business operations and risk mitigation strategies.

The Compliance Specialist will monitor regulatory changes, maintain compliance registers, support accreditation processes, and provide guidance to service leaders and business units.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and interpreting aged care, disability, and housing regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Supporting accreditation applications, re-accreditation, and compliance audits.
  • Tracking compliance activities, maintaining registers, and providing reports to senior leaders.
  • Acting as a compliance advisor, providing guidance and training on regulatory obligations.
  • Working with governance and risk management teams to implement compliance strategies.
  • Promoting a safe work environment by ensuring adherence to Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies.

Requirements for this role:

  • Experience in compliance, risk management, or accreditation within aged care, health, or community services.
  • Strong knowledge of aged care regulatory frameworks, including Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Standards, and industry accreditation.
  • Ability to interpret and apply legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements to business operations.
  • Qualifications in a relevant field.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Current National Police Clearance and a valid driver's license.
