Mater Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Insights Specialist to join its team. This role will be based at the Newstead campus, where you will work closely with the Marketing department to develop data-driven strategies that improve campaign performance.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in an appropriate field or equivalent relevant experience. They should also possess:

  • 2-3 years of experience in analytics and insight, with hands-on expertise in Power BI and DAX.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence/analytics tools and data modelling, as well as proficiency in SQL coding and optimisation.
  • Knowledge of the Modern Azure BI Stack and familiarity with digital analytics solutions would be advantageous.
  • Technical proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Python, ETL processes, Azure/Cloud infrastructure, machine learning/predictive analytics, and API integration.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build custom reports and dashboards using Power BI, create segmentation models, data visualizations, and storytelling to drive business insights. You will also be responsible for delivering ad hoc reporting and analysis requests, as well as developing and maintaining data models and reporting outputs to ensure ongoing accuracy and reliability of business insights.
