Senior Biostatistician

Mater Misericordiae Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Biostatistician to contribute to the success of our clinical research team. This part-time role will be based at our South Brisbane campus and will focus on statistical analysis of data collected on various projects across the Stillbirth CRE.

The ideal candidate will have postgraduate qualifications in epidemiology, statistics or biostatistics and extensive experience with Stata, R, SPSS and Microsoft Excel. They will also have a strong understanding of clinical research and a proven track record of working with large clinical datasets.

Key responsibilities will include advising and assisting researchers in the design of research studies, undertaking advanced statistical analysis of clinical research, and providing advice and support for researchers in the use of statistical software packages.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that study data are organised, securely stored and maintain privacy and confidentiality. They will also contribute to the preparation of grant applications, manuscripts and other scientific publications as required.
