As a seasoned Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the operational excellence of our critical platform. Your primary focus will be on overseeing daily operations, managing a 24/7 support team, optimizing incident response, and ensuring operational readiness for releases.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include leading platform operations to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance, establishing and optimizing a 24/7 operations support team, and developing, tracking, and reporting on availability metrics.

You will work alongside delivery squads to ensure successful delivery of new platform features and updates, drive strategic thinking, and identify key capabilities needed to support both short-term and long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the platform to maintain high availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Establish and optimize a 24/7 operations support team for fast resolution of platform-related incidents.
  • Manage on-call rotation schedules and ensure seamless triage and escalation of production support requests.
  • Own incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and track availability metrics to identify trends and enhance system performance.

Additionally, you will coach, mentor, and support engineers in their career growth and professional development, conduct regular 1:1s and career conversations, and drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the platform team.
