We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our Ability WA team, working alongside our Industrial Designer, Mechatronics Engineer, Upholsterers, and Clinical Adviser to fabricate and repair postural seating systems and equipment for people with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide routine technical services to customers attending Ability TECH, relating to wheelchairs, postural seating systems, and other equipment for postural support and function.
- Manufacture, fabricate, and assemble positioning equipment and inserts as prescribed by therapists.
- The manufacture of seating and wheelchair accessories and components using approved materials (metals, plastics, wood) and techniques.
- Interact with customers, therapists, technicians, upholsters, and tradespeople in a clinical setting.
- Work for a non-profit organisation with a caring and values-driven culture.

- Knowledge of equipment needs of people with disabilities.
