Job Opportunity

Take the next step in your career as an Electrical Designer in our Telecommunications Critical Infrastructure division. In this role you will assist in the development of detailed electrical designs, produce cost estimates of materials and labour, assist the construction team during construction of projects and update database and as-built drawings.

About You

Preferable experience and knowledge of but not limited to:

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Engineer/Designer
  • Technical fluency on Low Voltage and DC power
  • Proficiency in bill of quantities preparation
  • Proficiency in interpreting CAD drawings
  • Competency in MS Office, especially MS Excel to prepare bills of quantities and tender costs estimates
  • MS Access, Power Automation, and Power Apps desirable
  • A current manual driver's license
  • Be prepared to work away from home when required
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, OH&S legislation/guidelines, and environmental legislation/licensing
Desired Skills
  • Develop technically fit-for-purpose solar and battery designs for commercial market segments
  • Have proficient knowledge of the solar industry and solar-related regulations and requirements
  • Basic understanding of LV/HV AC electrical systems
