At MAC, we're seeking a highly skilled and passionate makeup artist to join our team as a Creative Retail Makeup Expert. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and creative individual to work in a fast-paced retail environment, providing exceptional customer service and delivering outstanding results in visual merchandising and in-store events.
About the Role:
We're looking for someone who is not only skilled in makeup artistry but also has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Creative Retail Makeup Expert, you will be responsible for providing personalized and inspirational customer service, educating customers about our products, and working closely with the store team to create impactful in-store experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering product-related questions and offering personalized recommendations.
- Work closely with the store team to create visually appealing displays and in-store events that showcase our products in the best possible light.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of our products, including ingredients, benefits, and usage.
- Assist with visual merchandising, including product placement, display, and stock management.
- Participate in in-store events, including demonstrations, workshops, and makeup tutorials.
Requirements:
- While certification in makeup artistry is desirable, we welcome applicants with amateur level experience who have a high level of creative and technical expertise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced work environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software is a plus.
