Salary

We offer competitive pay rates for our support workers, ranging from $33.80 to $74.36 per hour. This rate includes penalty rates for working nights, weekends, or public holidays, as well as overtime. We also pay superannuation and long service leave (where applicable) to ensure the long-term financial security of our workers.

Job Description

As a support worker with Hireup, you will work closely with individuals who require assistance with daily living activities. Your role will involve providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their goals and live independently. You will be responsible for creating and implementing personalized support plans that cater to the individual's needs and preferences.

Your duties may include:

  • Assisting with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Accompanying individuals to appointments and social events
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Assisting with household chores and meal preparation

In addition to your core responsibilities, you may also have the opportunity to participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
