Business Banking Credit Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Banking Credit Analyst to join our dynamic team of professionals serving companies with turnovers between $30M and $150M.

As a Business Banking Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for financial modelling and analysis relating to Business and/or Commercial Banking clients, preparing credit submissions, managing portfolio data quality, compliance and reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing strong business banking credit writing skills and commercial acumen.
  • Conducting thorough financial analysis of balance sheets, profit and loss and cash flow forecasting.
  • Collaborating with Specialist teams to structure and articulate the credit merits of transactions.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Client service experience in a commercial or business banking environment.
  • Demonstrable strength in identifying and mitigating key risks within complex transactions.
  • A tertiary business/finance and/or commerce qualification would be highly regarded.

Successful applicants will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. They will also possess strong communication skills and be able to articulate complex financial information clearly.
