GP Training Medical Educator Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate GP Training Medical Educator to join our team in Darling Downs West Morton, QLD. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of general practitioners by supporting their development throughout the entire training journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide targeted support and education for GP registrars, guiding them from entry into the program through to fellowship via peer learning sessions, one-on-one support, and practice visits.
  • Collaborate with Training Coordinators, Program Support Officers, and external partners to ensure high-quality outcomes for registrars and practices.
  • Build strong relationships with registrars, supervisors, and practices, tailoring support to local needs for optimal training and progress.
Requirements:
  • RACGP fellowship (or equivalent)
  • A passion for medical education
  • Hold current Australian specialist registration in general practice without addenda
  • Experience in teaching or mentoring registrars, medical students or peers will be highly valued
