Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage a Digital Portfolio Office to provide governance and support for digital projects.
  • Maintain consistent project management methodologies across the Digital Team and broader RTIO.
  • Develop, implement and maintain the RTIO digital strategy and roadmap aligned with RTIO's business objectives.
  • Lead the digital prioritisation process, evaluating and ranking digital projects based on strategic alignments and risk.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication plan to keep stakeholders informed about digital initiatives.
  • Oversee budgeting and vendor management for digital projects ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Establish and maintain a risk management framework for digital initiatives.
  • Manage escalations, risks and issues arising from delivery within the Iron Ore Digital portfolio.
  • Coaching and developing the capability of the Portfolio and Governance team.
  • Provide thought leadership on portfolio prioritisation and project management.
  • Manage relationships with RTIO, IS&T and global Rio Tinto stakeholders.
  • Co-ordinate and plan all global digital programmes impacting RTIO.

Requirements
