Operations & Maintenance Leadership Role

This position requires an experienced leader to oversee the effective operation and maintenance of various assets and sites across NSW.

The successful candidate will report to the National Operations Manager and be responsible for managing a team of supervisors and approximately 15 tradespeople and operators.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Lead, motivate and manage a team of supervisors and approximately 15 tradespeople and operators
  • Manage the delivery of operations and maintenance in line with business strategy
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of asset management plans
  • Take ownership of O&M performance and contribute to annual business planning and reporting
  • Champion best practice HSSE Management and promote a culture of safety excellence across all sites in region

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in the Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or similar industry, with significant experience as a leader and manager. Relevant trade qualifications within fuel operations are highly regarded, as well as prior experience in Defence Fuels. Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills are essential for liaising with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.

Key qualifications and skills include:

  • Extensive experience working in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or similar industry
  • Significant experience as a leader and manager
  • Relevant trade qualifications within fuel operations
  • Prior experience in Defence Fuels
  • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
