Part Time Specialist Eye Care Professional

As an experienced Orthoptist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cataract and laser eye surgery. This part-time position is perfect for someone who wants to maintain a healthy work-life balance, with no after-hours or weekend work.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a busy clinic. Strong customer service and time management skills are essential for success in this role.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Preoperative assessment experience for cataract and refractive patients
  • Clinical assessment skills for glaucoma and medical/surgical retina patients
  • Ability to perform diagnostic testing and imaging including OCT, Pentacam, IOL Master and Humphrey Visual Fields
  • IOL calculation skills (training will be provided)
