About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Officer to join our Maintenance team at AGL Loy Yang. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our power station plant and systems.

As a Technical Officer, you will be responsible for planning, budgeting, and assisting in the preparation of work scopes, job instructions, and work schedules. You will also be involved in fault finding, diagnostic, and repair work on power station plant and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute high-quality maintenance, modification, and improvement work on power station plant and systems.
  • Record plant-based information and prepare plant maintenance history records.
  • Commission, test, and adjust plant and plant systems.
  • Conduct fault finding to detect and repair system faults on power station plant.
  • Assist in the development of asset strategies and Whole Of Life (WOL) planning.
  • Provide support and work with other groups, including contractors on plant-based issues.
About You

You will have extensive experience in fault finding, diagnostic, and repair work across electrical control, monitoring, and protection systems. You will be a problem solver who thrives in a high-pressure environment and is able to work effectively in a team.

Experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance and operations within a Power Station or heavy industrial environment is highly regarded.
