We are seeking a highly motivated Safety Professional to join our team as a Safety Partner for our XXXX Brewery in Milton, Brisbane. This is a 5-day onsite position, reporting to our AU Safety Leader.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and develop strategies to promote a culture of safety.
- Collaborate with XXXX teams to identify and address safety concerns, conduct safety training, and promote best practices.
- Actively engage with various teams to gather and share safety knowledge, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coach and influence our teams on Lion's safety management systems.
- Join our leadership meetings to provide safety information and stay up to date on business updates.
- Enable effective contractor management and inductions through upskilling our leaders on the Pegasus system.
- Be our onsite SME to partner with our teams on machine safety, permit systems, and LOTO.
We are looking for someone with a safety background in any industry, who is at ease engaging with team members and leaders at all levels and building positive relationships. You should enjoy being hands-on and onsite at the brewery, and have experience within an operational environment is preferred but not essential. You should also be interested in the technical elements of manufacturing and machine safety.
