Credit Model Validation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Credit Model Validation Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of credit models used across the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating model implementation challenges and assessing business impact on risk measures or processes
  • Maintaining sound relationships with stakeholders, including developers, auditors, and regulators
  • Representing the Model Risk & Validation team at project advisory groups and coordinating with leaders in the model risk & validation team
  • Effectively presenting results of validation work and business implications to internal working groups and technical forums

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Solid programming skills in R, Python, SAS, and SQL, with experience manipulating large and complex datasets
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with ability to work under guidance
  • Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication, including ability to interpret and report complex material and make sound recommendations to stakeholders

Requirements:

You will need to have tertiary qualifications in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, econometrics, actuarial science, engineering, or data science.
