About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Lead to join our team. As a member of our quality assurance group, you will play a pivotal role in supporting AGL's strategy and commitment to sustainability.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing compliance obligations for environmental schemes and AFSL/AML/CTF requirements.
  • Developing and implementing a compliance framework for the ACCU Scheme.
  • Providing expert analysis and advice on regulatory, compliance, and governance frameworks.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and internal teams. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • In-depth knowledge of AFSL, AML/CTF, and environmental schemes, including carbon regulations.
  • Previous experience in a compliance role, preferably in financial services or environmental sectors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders.
