Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Communications Content Manager to lead the development of high-quality publications and communications that reflect our style and voice.

This is a key role in APRA Corporate Affairs, working closely with Senior Leaders to build trust and influence outcomes. As a champion for editorial accuracy and quality, you will ensure consistency across a range of communications materials and publications.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in central communications functions, with responsibility for delivery across multiple business units/functions. A background in journalism or corporate communications roles within Financial Services or the Public Sector is highly regarded.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and championing editorial accuracy and quality across APRA publications
  • Writing and editing various corporate publications and other communications across APRA
  • Ensuring consistent quality and accuracy across a range of communications materials and publications
  • Drafting and editing other communications materials as required

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working in central communications functions with responsibility for delivery across multiple business units/functions
  • Background in journalism or corporate communications roles within Financial Services or the Public Sector
  • Possess an acute attention to detail, a passion for effective communications and the ability to work collaboratively and autonomously
  • Able to understand and distil technical financial detail and concepts
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of awareness of the external environment in which APRA operates and of existing and emerging issues
  • Demonstrated credibility working with Senior Leaders, building trust and influence to achieve outcomes
