Clinical Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned Clinical Leader to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful applicant will be responsible for applying advanced clinical knowledge and experience to support the team in positive behaviour support and the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices.

  • Apply advanced clinical knowledge and experience to support the team in positive behaviour support and the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices, ensuring consistency and quality in service delivery.
  • Provide leadership in clinical practice, including mentoring and supervision of team members.
  • Contribute to the provision of education on the use, reduction and elimination of restrictive practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the allocation of applications from disability services providers to use restrictive practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the use of restrictive practices by providing timely advice and reporting.
  • Provide information on the rights of persons with a disability who may be subject to restrictive practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in allied health, with at least five years' practical experience as an allied health practitioner. Relevant postgraduate qualifications and/or extensive experience in health and/or disability service administration, leadership, public policy and operations of government, and/or clinical or regulatory governance are highly regarded.
