About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at a major tertiary hospital in Adelaide. As a key member of our anaesthetic department, you will provide exceptional care to patients, including perioperative care, audit, education, research, and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality anaesthetic care to patients, including perioperative care, audit, education, research, and management.
  • Manage acute, chronic, and persistent pain conditions, as well as pain complicated by other medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
About the Facility

Our client is a major tertiary hospital affiliated with the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia. The hospital is located in a picturesque location, surrounded by rolling hills, beautiful beaches, and world-class wineries.

Requirements
  • Registered with AHPRA and at least 12 months recent experience.
  • On ANZCA training program approaching Fellowship.
  • Hold the FANZCA.
  • IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ, as well as interested candidates from South Africa, Hong Kong, Malaysia.
  • IMG's with a confirmed ANZCA interview date.
  • IMG's already assessed by ANZCA and found to be substantially comparable.
