We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team as casual educators in early childhood settings.

This role offers flexibility for those who want to choose when and how often they work, making it ideal for individuals who need to balance personal or family commitments with their career.

As a casual educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education and care for children from birth to six years, supporting their overall wellbeing and learning every day.

You will be hands-on, engaging with and supervising children, assisting with daily routines and maintaining a safe, clean environment. You will contribute to the development of engaging, play-based educational programs tailored to each child's interests and development, while working closely with families and the team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Observe and document children's learning, development, and engagement in centre programs.
  • Contribute to planning and delivering play-based learning programs that cater to diverse needs and abilities.
  • Build supportive and collaborative relationships with families and children, ensuring open communication and mutual understanding.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Education and Care (or equivalent).
  • Current First Aid qualification (HLTAID012) is mandatory for this role.
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check is required for all employees.
  • Child Protection Training (CHCPRT025) is essential for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children in our care.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood development frameworks, including EYLF and NQS, is expected.
