About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Water Supply and Sewer Network Planning Engineer to join our National Asset Management and Planning team. As a Senior/Associate, you will be responsible for leading and undertaking technical assessments of water supply and sewerage networks to address drivers such as growth, compliance, network performance improvement, and renewals.

The successful candidate will have experience in strategic and master planning, options assessments, feasibility investigations, and detailed planning projects. You will also be required to prepare business cases, and have exposure to asset management and strategy development functions. Additionally, you will work with key clients across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading and undertaking key technical tasks across high-profile water infrastructure projects.
  • Preparing well-written technical reports and proposals on medium to large projects.
  • Supervising and coordinating project team members to achieve project outcomes and meet client objectives and expectations.
  • Participating in industry associations and complying with all roles-specific SHEQ obligations.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have experience leading the delivery of efficient and effective engineering consultancy services to public and private sector clients. You will also have experience in providing technical expertise across a broad range of projects, including the planning of water supply and sewerage networks, preparing and delivering effective presentations, and developing and maintaining client relationships.

Requirements
  • Recognised Bachelor's Degree (Engineering) or Equivalent.
  • Chartered status CPENG an advantage.
  • Proven local experience in water engineering and previous experience in a consultancy environment highly desirable.
  • Estimated annual salary: $120,000 - $180,000 AUD based on location and experience.
