The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager based in Sydney to drive business development and marketing strategies across the NSW Government and Dispute Resolution Business Unit portfolios.

This exciting opportunity will focus on strategy development and driving revenue growth across both client portfolios. You will work closely with Partners to identify and activate market opportunities, assess sales prospects, develop value propositions, and manage key pursuits and tenders.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support the DR BU Leader and NSW Government CRP in developing and executing successful market growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with Partners and Senior Lawyers to activate opportunities that expand the client footprint and market reputation.
  • Develop effective client strategies and account plans, identifying meaningful avenues to profile the firm's expertise internally and externally.
  • Lead the management of client service team plans and meetings, client planning sessions, and workshops.
  • Use data to identify strategic trends, insights, opportunities, share learnings, and drive informed decisions and solutions on marketing strategy.
  • Assist with proactive development of pipeline pursuits and develop tailored pursuits for target opportunities.
  • Measure, assess, and report on the effectiveness of marketing and business development, identifying trends.
  • Design and execute targeted campaigns in collaboration with the Brand, Marketing, and Communications team to enhance MinterEllison's market positioning.
  • Foster collaborative and trusted relationships to support cross-firm collaboration and client opportunities.
