Job Title: Roll Forming Engineer

About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Roll Forming Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing roll forming machinery and related equipment.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop roll forming machinery and related equipment
  2. Create detailed 3D CAD models and drawings (AutoCAD Inventor preferred)
  3. Apply FEA and engineering principles to ensure robust, efficient designs
  4. Manage projects from concept design through to manufacture and delivery
  5. Liaise with production, fabrication, and procurement teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective
  6. Ensure compliance with customer requirements, Australian Standards, and internal quality processes
  7. Support continuous improvement initiatives across design and manufacturing

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  1. A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent qualification/experience)
  2. Proven roll forming design experience (essential)
  3. Strong proficiency in 3D CAD (AutoCAD Inventor preferred) and FEA software
  4. Solid knowledge of Australian engineering standards and regulatory requirements
  5. Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  6. A high level of organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail
