Job Description:


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic OSHC Service Coordinator to join our team at Extend in Endeavour Hills, VIC. As a vital member of our staff, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Before and After School Care service.



The Opportunity

We provide a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children aged 5-12 years, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development. Our service is committed to providing high-quality care that exceeds the expectations of our families and the school community.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan, and deliver daily activities for children that are engaging, educational, and promote their overall well-being.
  • Supervise and support children during before and after school care hours, ensuring their safety and happiness.
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
  • Bulild meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, and the school community.
  • Participate in regular network meetings and contribute to the growth and development of our service.


Requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV in Children's Services or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Employee Working with Children's Checks (WWC). Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training and Child Protection Certification.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including split shifts, weekends, and school holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in an OSHC setting.
