Seasonal Reservoir Ranger

We are seeking a Seasonal Reservoir Ranger to join our team and assist in the overall management of our reservoirs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting recreational access to reservoir reserves, providing high-quality information to enhance visitor experiences, and delivering educational content on the importance of reservoirs for drinking water and environmental conservation.

• Assist with the maintenance and operation of facilities that support public access to reservoir sites.
• Deliver educational content on the importance of reservoirs for drinking water and environmental conservation.
• Support and supervise volunteer and community programs that promote recreational access and land management.
• Undertake conservation, land management, and operational activities in reservoir reserve areas, ensuring safety and water quality standards are met.

• Possess a passion for environment, conservation, and connecting people to nature.
• A willingness to learn, show good initiative, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to speak to groups and other reservoir visitors.
• Experience in operational environments which may include maintenance activities.
• Have completed, or are in the process of completing, a qualification in Environmental Management, Natural Resources Management, or other related discipline.
