At our esteemed organization, we seek a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in Central Queensland. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care by assessing, stabilizing, and developing individualized care plans for adults with complex mental health needs.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions between hospital and community services.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to manage intake, triage, and crisis care.
  • Develop and implement effective case management strategies to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA with no restrictions.
  • Proven background in mental health nursing at Clinical Nurse level, particularly working within intake and triage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Sound knowledge and clinical experience in adult mental health, including case management and crisis care.
