Job Overview:

We are undertaking a major capability upgrade program to enhance and sustain our military air traffic management systems across Australia.

This investment represents a significant commitment to maintaining sovereign defence capabilities and ensuring the continued safe operation of military aviation.

As an Integrated Logistics Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive support strategies for major system upgrades across multiple military sites.

You will work within a dedicated ILS team, analysing supportability requirements, developing maintenance strategies, and ensuring seamless logistics integration between new and existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct reliability, availability, and maintainability modelling to inform support requirements and validate sustainment strategies.
  • Develop comprehensive logistics support documentation including maintenance plans, technical data, and training requirements.
  • Analyse and document transition impacts from legacy to upgraded systems.
  • Support the development and implementation of site-specific transition plans.
  • Create and maintain logistics support strategies ensuring operational capability through transition and beyond.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in integrated logistics support analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in reliability, maintainability, and availability modelling.
  • Proven ability to develop technical documentation and support strategies.
  • Understanding of systems engineering and maintenance support principles.

Desirable attributes:

  • Experience in defence technology related industry.
  • Background in logistics operations across both acquisition and in-service support phases.
  • Knowledge of process development and documentation procedures.
