R&D Innovator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Specialist to join our team at Evolve Scientific. As an R&D Specialist, you will be responsible for driving innovation and product development in our beverage company.

About Your Responsibilities

• Formulation Development and Testing: Develop and test new beverage formulations to meet customer requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Production Trials and Documentation: Manage production trials, create and maintain associated documentation, and ensure specification management.
• Artwork Development and Regulatory Compliance: Develop and manage artwork for new products, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate records.
• Customer Product Development Workshops and Presentations: Collaborate with customers to develop new products, create presentations, and provide technical support.
• Co-Manufacturer Support: Attend production runs for co-manufacturers in the ANZ region and ensure smooth operations.
• Cost Saving Projects and Initiatives: Identify and implement cost-saving projects and initiatives to meet business objectives.
• Manufacturing Principles and Problem Solving: Apply manufacturing principles, participate in problem-solving exercises, and provide technical assistance to other teams.
• Customer Support and Key Supplier Liaison: Provide technical support to customers and key suppliers on new packaging design and pricing.
• Standard Operating Procedures and Task Instruction Guides: Review and update SOPs and task instruction guides as necessary.

About You

• Experience: Ideally 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of GMP principles.
• Education: A Bachelor of Science, preferably in Chemistry or Food Science, with a demonstrated understanding of GMP principles.
• Skills: Outstanding communication skills, leadership capabilities, and prior GMP experience.
