Driver of Heavy Vehicles

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team in Western Australia. Our client is embarking on an iconic project and requires a dedicated and experienced driver to transport goods safely and efficiently.

\

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering inbound freight, managing logistics, and conducting daily pre-start inspections to ensure continued safe and efficient operation.

\

Our ideal candidate will have over 2 years' experience operating in FIFO roles and hold the necessary licenses and qualifications.

\

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Delivery of inbound freight, including semi-trailer operations\
  • Logistics management, including laydown and material transport\
  • Conducting daily pre-start inspections to ensure machinery is in good working condition\
  • Reporting of faults and anomalies with mobile machinery and equipment\
  • Adherence to established OH&S policy and procedures\
  • Ensuring a safe and efficient operation of machinery at all times\
  • Maintenance of records and documentation as required\
  • Other duties as assigned by management\

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current Australian Driver's Licence (Mandatory)\
  • Construction White/Blue Card (Mandatory)\
  • Hold a valid HC, HR licence, LV (Mandatory)\
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen\
  • Full Working Rights in Australia\
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team\
  • Over 2 years' experience operating in FIFO role\
