Safe Environment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Security Officer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and patrons.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety of others.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Surveillance team to identify and report suspicious behavior.
- Conduct comprehensive entry point vetting, hotel security, retail security, bar security, and event security duties.
- Monitor and assist with Responsible Services of Alcohol.
- Provide outstanding guest service as part of our dedication to responsible gaming.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- National Police Certificate.
- National RSA and RCG Competency Cards and First Aid accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
- Customer service experience in fast-paced/licensed venues is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work 8 - 12 hour shifts across a rotating roster essential.
- Good communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude.
As a Security Officer, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our guests and colleagues.
You will be working collaboratively with a large and diverse team, shaping the success of our Security Team at The Star.
