Job Description

Job Summary

The Aged Care Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our aged care services, ensuring high-quality care and support for our clients. This role will involve strategic planning, team management, and collaboration with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement aged care strategies to meet business objectives
  • Lead and manage a team of direct care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Executive Director and other managers, to achieve business objectives
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and community partners
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business, Health Management, Aged Care, or related field
  • At least two years of business unit management experience in the aged care sector
  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset to grow and develop the business
  • Ability to analyze data and generate KPI reporting
  • Understanding of the aged care sector and what it takes to deliver a quality and safe service to older Australians in their home
  • Ability to motivate a team to deliver growth targets
